CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 17 ago - Monterrey se repuso de un gol en contra y venció el domingo 3-2 a Mazatlán con un doblete del argentino Lucas Ocampos en el cierre de la quinta jornada del torneo Apertura del fútbol mexicano.
Con su cuarto triunfo consecutivo, los "Rayados" de Monterrey llegaron a 12 puntos para alcanzar a Pachuca en la cima de la tabla general del torneo.
En el partido disputado en el estadio BBVA de Monterrey, Mazatlán se adelantó a los 13 minutos con un potente disparo de José Esquivel dentro del área tras un débil rechace defensivo.
Monterrey empató a los 15 minutos cuando Víctor Guzmán remató con la cabeza un centro enviado por Jesús "Tecatito" Corona desde el sector izquierdo.
Ocampos anotó el segundo gol para Monterrey a los 26 minutos con un disparo de
pués de que el portero Ricardo Gutiérrez le rechazó un primer remate.
